今回は場所を表す前置詞のat,in,onの違いについて解説します。
at：比較的狭い場所(地点、建物の内外)
in:比較的広い場所(囲まれた内部)
on:特定の面(の一部)
①at：話し手が地点と感じている場合
at the bus-stop(バス停で)、at the door(戸口で)、at the end of the street(道路の外れで)、at the North Pole(北極点で)
Turn to the right at the traffic signals. (交通信号の所で右折しなさい)
何か特定の働きを持つ場所で、その働き通りに使うような場合はatを用いる：at school(冠詞無し)、at church(冠詞無し)、at the station

The plane arrived in[at] Karachi an hour late. (飛行機は1時間おくれでカラチに着いた)
②in：内部を考えるか、広がりを感じている場合
in the garden(庭で)、in the room(部屋で)、in the building(建物で)
Robert lives in a small village in the mountains. （ロバートは山の小さな村に住んでいる)

arrive at Tokyo：もう着いたも同然("東京"を地点と捉えている)
③on：面を考えている場合
on the field(競技場で)、on the grass(芝生で)
The players are practicing on the field. (選手たちはフィールドで練習している)
